Opening Credits

I think the opening credits should be similar to that of Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant (2009) which uses text interwoven with images to set the genre and show some characters from the film. Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant uses Dark silhouettes against a red or purple background to connote blood and vampires, we could use this technique with different colours such as metallic silver or blue to connote our sci-fi genre.

I think the font for our credits should be similar to that of the opening credits of The Terminator 2 which uses strong, futuristic sans serif text. The text is also made to look like metal which would be good for our sci-fi genre. Adults who take their children to see the film will also appreciate the Intertextual reference.
